The AJM EnviroSEP from Ajm Environmental Services is a range of oil separators that are suitable for wastewater treatment services. They are available in capacities of 1000 litres/hr, 2,000 liters/hr and 3,500 litres/hr. These stainless steel oil separators are suitable for treating storm water collected from fuel farms and transformer compounds. They can also be used in water treatment systems and in managing major oil spills. These oil separating units are designed to remove free oils and grease to levels under 10 ppm.
The AJM EnviroSEP initially treats excess water by straining leaves, twigs and other foreign objects, using a large volume removable basket strainer. The water is directed to the coalescing media where oil collects and overflows into a built-in oil tank. The treated water passes over an adjustable weir and can be discharged directly into storm water drains.
These small oil separators are fitted with a major spill protection cut off security system which prevents spills from discharging oil into the drain. A high-level sensor activates an alarm during emergency conditions.
These oil separators are built to withstand outdoor installation and are suitable for remote and unattended locations.
